Dear Valued Warrior Football Fan / Supporter,

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in Martin High School Warrior Football.  The coaches, players, booster club members, and myself deeply appreciate your interest and support in the Warrior Football program.  We are absolutely aware that in today’s economy it becomes harder and harder to allocate funds to support programs such as ours.  These tough economic times have made fundraising increasingly difficult and very challenging for the Football Booster Club.  As you may be aware, AISD cut the 2009 budget by millions of dollars and this will have an impact on Warrior Football.  In 2009, the MHS Football Booster Club will need to play an even greater role in supporting the Warrior Football program to ensure they have the necessary resources to be successful.    

Please let me take a moment to let you know how your support dollars are used.  First and foremost, the MHS Football Booster Club strictly follows the University Interscholastic League (UIL) guidelines regarding how these funds can be used.  Our goal is to promote and enhance the football program at Martin High School.   All donations and funds generated by the MHS Football Booster Club are used to help the football program purchase football equipment and supplies necessary to best prepare our players for competition.

A few examples of our 2008 support includes:  A/C system for Craven’s Field locker room, new game film editing system, college scholarship fund, football training equipment, coaching clinics, football banquets & special event costs, partial funding of the MHS Marquee project, game filming services, Varsity Letter Jackets and a Varsity documentary DVD.  As you can see, we are very aggressive in supporting Warrior Football and we greatly appreciate your tax deductible donation which will help the MHS Football Booster Club continue this support.
